Current Life Setting

I got out of the army a year ago but it still feels fresh. Adjusting to civilian life has been very difficult. In the Army we have rules and guide lines to keep us in check. Every day in the Army your day is planned out for you. I try to stick to my Army values as much as possible because I don’t want to stray away from all they’ve invested in me while i’m gone. The gym has been my safe haven. When I get to the gym I bust open the Garage style doors to let the cool morning breeze in. The first thing you see is the big chalk board that takes up an entire wall filled with all of the personal, state, and world records that Team Beast Strong has broken. The floors are covered in dust and chalk. The only thing you can hear over the roaring music is the sound of hundreds of pound slamming against the floor from deadlifts. The discipline of everyone in this gym is admirable and I look up to every single one of them.
