In my search for an editorial article to review there was a title that caught my eye “It’s Too Late To Ban Assault Weapons.” The article makes some very good points as to why assault weapons will always be around. The article states “there are around 15 million military style weapons in civilian hands in the United States.” That is a very large number of assault weapons. In my opinion I agree with the author. Guns are our right as Americans and increasing restrictions on weapons will only make protecting ourselves harder. I also agree gun laws should be less strict. We see all the tragic shootings across America and can’t help but develop an appetite for a world without guns. If there were less restrictions on firearms, there is a higher chance a gun in the right hands can stop a gun in the wrong hands before its too late.https://nyti.ms/2GZz5km
